Funeral service for Lillie Crittenden, 75, of Auburn, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, 4881 US Highway 29 S, Auburn, AL 36830 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Thomas Brown, Pastor, Reverend Otis Tyner, Jr., Officiating and Elder Michael Goodwin, Eulogist.
Mrs. Crittenden, who passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL, was born April 2, 1950, in Macon County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, February 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Crittenden will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Johnny Crittenden of Auburn, AL; three children, Felix (Tracy) Cook of Senoia, GA, Pastors McArthur (Connie) Cook of Opelika, AL and Zandra (Darrell) Marshall of Auburn, AL; two bonus sons, Torianno Roberts of Cusseta, AL and Keith Stringfellow of Alpharetta, GA; twenty grandchildren, Chris Evans, Jade McKinnon, Andre McKinnon, Jr., Jamon Gary, Darell Spinks, Harmonee Knight all of Auburn, AL, Malik Sistrunk, Tamall Calloway, Aleshia Dowdell all of Opelika, AL, Denzel Oliver, Desmen Cook, Jasmine Dorman all of Atlanta, GA, Brittany McCullough of Norfolk, VA, Tavion Early of Washington, D.C., Kenae Early of San Antonio, TX, Jessalyn Smith of Birmingham, AL, Taylor Robinson of Augusta, GA, Ashlyn Belle of Huntsville, AL, Ebonee Johnson of Phenix City, AL and Capria Cook of Cincinnati, OH; a host of great-grandchildren; one brother, Columbus “Larry” (Laverne) Oliver of McDonough, GA; a bonus sister, Diane Ambus of Opelika, AL; two devoted friends, Rosie Gary of Salem, AL and Christine Dillon of Atlanta, GA; her extended family the Cook family; host of sisters and brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
