Funeral service for Loretta Allen, 53, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 14, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Kenneth Coleman will officiate.
Mrs. Allen, who passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born May 9, 1971, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: two children, Kimberly Denise Allen and Timothy Lamar Allen, Jr. both of Opelika, AL; nine brothers, Howard Bracey, Jr, Howard Bracey III, Timothy Bracey, Nazareth Bracey, Nathaniel Bracey, Emmanuel Bracey, James Bracey, Timmy Bracey and Jimmy Bracey all of Atlanta, GA; seven sisters, Linda Bracey, Shebaline Bracey, Wanda (Gary) Kilgore all of Atlanta, GA; Regina (Thomas) Preston, Katherine Hughley, Michelle Hughley all of Opelika, AL and Fannie (Kurvin) Streeter of Montgomery, AL; aunt as a mother, Brenda Winfield of Opelika, AL; four aunts, Janie (James) Allen, Betty (Bobby) Stephens, Gale (Mac) Poole all of Opelika, AL and Sherry (Paul) Anderson of Fort Lauderdale, FL; one uncle, Ricky McCullough of Copperas Cove, TX; two great aunts, Frances Ingram and Doris Cooper both of Opelika, AL; two special cousins, April McCullough and Cynthia Thornton both of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
