Obituary For Louella Bailey "Mama-Dear" Howard
Funeral service for Louella Howard, 89, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 1535 West Farmville Road, Auburn, AL, 36830 with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 West View Drive, Auburn, AL, 36832, Reverend V. Dion Gilbert will officiate.
Mrs. Howard, who passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born November 11, 1936, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, November 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Howard will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Stella Brundage of Auburn, AL; three grandchildren that she raised as her own, Benford “Cortez” (Alice) Brundage of Opelika, AL, Beaver Jermaine “Donnie” (Laquita) Brundage of Birmingham, AL and Florence “Michelle” Brundage of Auburn, AL; a special great-grandson, JaDarrien Brundage of Birmingham, AL; nine great-grandchildren, Brittany Brundage of Washington, D.C., Ayanna Grace of Montgomery, AL, Brandon (Najee) Brundage of Atlanta, GA, Bridgette Brundage and Jermaine Brundage all of Birmingham, AL, Anthony (Jazmin) Story of Fayetteville, GA, Bryanna Brundage, Alexis Brundage and Tykeria Brundage all of Auburn, AL; a host of great-great-grandchildren; a special great-great granddaughter, Brooklyn Brundage of Auburn, AL; sister-in-love, Shirley Rowell of Auburn, AL; brother-in-love, Johnny Lee Rowell of Notasulga, AL; one niece, Vickey (Renard) Caldwell of Auburn, AL; one nephew, Mark Bailey of Auburn, AL; special neighbors and friends, Dora Lockhart and James Kyles both of Auburn, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
