Funeral service for Maggie Gross, 63, of Camp Hill, AL, will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2025, at New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 26403 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Camp Hill, AL 36850, with interment in the Church Cemetery, Reverend Justin Freeman, Pastor and Officiating, Reverend Robert Frazier, Eulogist.
Mrs. Gross, who passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Grandview Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama was born July 30, 1961 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Gross will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: a devoted husband, Daniel Gross of Camp Hill, AL; three children, Monia (Jonathan) Walton of Lafayette, AL, Dylisha Gross of Camp Hill, AL and Jamain (Payton, deceased) Gross of LaGrange, GA; eight grandchildren, Monisha Walton of Jonesboro, GA, Tanasia Walton, Newvoski Postell both of Lafayette, AL, Shakeyva Postell, Shariah Postell both of Huntsville, AL, Javorrius Moss of Kennesaw, GA, Jawon Moss and Jayden Gross all of LaGrange, GA; three great grandchildren, Paris Walton, Carter Russell and Ma’liya Walton all of Lafayette, AL; three sisters, Geraldine (Eugene, deceased) Shelly, Myrtis (William, deceased) Tinsley both of Camp Hill, AL and Lillie D. Peterson of Opelika, AL; four brother, Gary “Leroy” (Elaine) Gunn of Opelika, AL, Oyrthus (Bessie) Burton of Camp Hill, AL, James (Angela) Burton of Tallassee, AL, and Larry Wayne Peterson of Opelika, AL; six sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Troy) Pitts, Betty (Willie George) Taylor, Eyvonne (Arthur) Taylor all of Camp Hill, AL, Earnestine (Robert) Frazier of Lafayette, AL, Kathleen (Richard) Russell of Wetumpka, AL and Brenda (Millard) Dawson of Tuskegee, AL; four brothers-in-law, Alden (Sherry) Gross of Opelika, AL, Bobby (Linda) Gross, Clinton Gross both of Camp Hill, AL and Willie Joe (Joan) Gross of Valley, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, the Woodyard family, others relatives, cousins, and dear friends.
