Obituary For Marco Jurrell “Dankk” Rowell

Funeral service for Marco Rowell, 47, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, Reverend Marvin Davis will officiate.

Mr. Rowell, who passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his home in Auburn, Alabama, was born November 26, 1977, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: seven children, Marquania Rowell, Marco Rowell, Jr., Ariana Childs, Marquaysha Rowell, Makel Rowell, Marhia Rowell and Markeith Rowell; three step-children, Ni’kenina Matthews, Amarion Matthews and Canna Matthews; mother, Vernita Rowell of Auburn, AL; one granddaughter, Halo Aumora Rowell; father, Wallace Rowell of Loachapoka, AL; four aunts, Penny Rowe, Eloise Harvey, Yvonne Pressley and Yvette Rowell all of Auburn, AL; one uncle, John L. (Janie Mae) Rowell of Auburn, AL; devoted cousins, Markeith (Erica) Rowe of Notasulga, AL and Byron Brundage, Jr. of Auburn, AL; companion, Zanquetta Matthews of Opelika, AL; mother of his children, Maquetta Spinks and Christy Stone both of Opelika, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
