Obituary For Margaret Paradise “Auntie” Vaughn
Funeral service for Margaret Vaughn, 74, of Loachapoka, AL, will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2 Day Lily Street, Loachapoka, AL, 36865 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, Reverend Anthony Shealey will officiate.
Ms. Vaughn, who passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born May 31, 1950, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, October 25, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Vaughn will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Angela (Keldrick) Hill of Auburn, AL and Wandrey Vaughn of Loachapoka, AL; five grandchildren, Desminique (Keith) Rowell of Auburn, AL, Quintesha Vaughn (Danny Dorn) of Notasulga, AL, Shawndria Calloway of Montgomery, AL, Leshawn Calloway and Derrion Calloway both of Loachapoka, AL; two bonus granddaughters, Tegra Jointer of Loachapoka, AL and Jennifer Mack of Fort Moore, GA; six great-grandchildren, Kayden Parra of Auburn, AL, Kingston Dorn of Notasulga, AL, Kayleigh Rowell, Keith Rowell, Jr., Zakarious Rowell all of Auburn, AL and Jordan Rowell of Opelika, AL; two great-great grandchildren, Zai’n Rowell and Z’iel Rowell; three brothers, Hosea (Lizzie) Paradise, Sr., of Waterbury, CT, Tommy (Marquetta) Paradise and William Paradise both of Loachapoka, AL; four sisters, Mary (Roy Lee) Hawkins of Belle Mina, AL, Barbara (Robert) Rice of Decatur, AL, Jacqueline Jackson and Caroline (Lorenza) Pendleton both of Auburn, AL; special cousin, Minnie Black of Loachapoka, AL; two special friends, Katie Bass and Arthurine Dowdell both of Loachapoka, AL; two sisters in Christ, Mary Davis and Carrie Combs; a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
