Obituary For Mary Ann Watkins Barnes

Graveside service for Mary Barnes, 71, of Auburn, AL, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL 36830, Reverend John L. Butler will officiate.

Mrs. Barnes, who passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI, was born December 13, 1949, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, September 3, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required)

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Willie Barnes; one daughter, Takesha (Daniel) Jones; one brother, James Jimmy (Dolores) Watkins, Jr.; three grandchildren, Camarri Jones, Cassidy Jones and Cairo Jones; two nieces, Chaquita Carr and Lashareka Edwards; four great-nephews and two great-nieces; two friends as sisters, Essie Smith and Kathleen Dowdell; a host of cousins, her beloved pet dog, Rocko and many friends.
