Obituary For Mary Frances Sherrell Shaw
Funeral service for Mary Shaw, 87, of Camp Hill, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Mt. Pelia Missionary Baptist Church, 377 Lee Road 78, Camp Hill, AL, 36850 with interment in Shiloh Cemetery, Dadeville, AL, 36850, Reverend Otis Tyner, Jr, Pastor and Officiating, Reverend Edward Milner, Eulogist.
Mrs. Shaw, who passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born April 11, 1938, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, November 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Shaw will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: five children, Carolyn Lewis of South Carolina, Joseph Shaw, Tawanda Shaw both of Camp Hill, AL, Ira (Josenca) Shaw of Pike Road, AL and Cynthia Shaw of Opelika, AL; nine grandchildren, Doretha Lewis of Tallahassee, FL, Lanita Lewis of Tallassee, AL, Adrienne (Jejuanta) Matthews of Montgomery, AL, LaRique (Tess) Edwards of Pinson, AL, Kelsey Murrell, Kendra Murrell both of Woodstock, GA, Faith Shaw of Dallas, TX, Paige (Izuchukwu King) Ani of Waynesboro, NC and Kylie Grace Shaw of Pike Road, AL; a host of great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard (Estelita) Scott of Auburn, AL and Nathaniel Scott of Waverly, AL; three sisters, Rosie Nell Scott, Mary Briggs both of New York, NY and Margaret Webb of Phenix City, AL; special cousins, Early George (Patricia) Milner, Shirley (Rodney) Taylor all of Camp Hill, AL, and Bobby Milner; brother-in-law, Charlie Mac (Ann) Shaw of Camp Hill, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
