Funeral service for Mary Harris, 77, of Auburn, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Auburn A.M.E. Zion Church, 576 Martin Luther King Drive, Auburn, AL, 36830, with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL, 36830, Reverend Stephen Faulk will officiate.

Mrs. Harris, who passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, was born November 18, 1947, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, May 16, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Harris will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: five children, Patricia Morgan of Auburn, AL, Rickey (Ramonica) Cannon of Anderson, SC, John (Juanita) Cannon, Sharon Cannon both of Auburn, Alabama and Tammie (Forest Core) Cannon of Opelika, AL; thirteen grandchildren, Patricia, Sharon, Christopher, Asya, Justin, Ke’Shawn, Amelia, Ariel, Alyvia, Tianna, Meagan, Alaina, and Ivory; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Warren Morgan of Auburn, AL; one aunt, Apostle Dr. Helen Harvey Felton of Auburn, AL; like a daughter, Maricelittle Grier of Tyler, TX; close friend, Dora Lockhart of Auburn, AL; a host of other family members and friends.
