Funeral service for MaTiya Smith, 48, of Atlanta, GA, will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2461 US Highway 29 N, Auburn, AL, 36830, with interment in Darlington Cemetery, 205 Edwards Drive, Tuskegee, AL, 36803, Reverend Chester Levett will officiate.
Ms. Smith, who passed away Wednesday, August, 12, 2026 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, was born June 30, 1978, in Duval County, Florida.
Public viewing will be Friday, August 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Smith will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
