Obituary For Michael Carnell “Mr. Bigg” Wynn

Funeral service for Michael Wynn, 53, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m. (EST), Monday, December 30, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1487 Lee Road 372, Valley, AL, 36854 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Corey Huguley will officiate.

Mr. Wynn, who passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born February 9, 1971, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (EST)

Mr. Wynn will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: five children, Alexander (Shaunteria) Long of Auburn, AL, Khadijah Ellis of Opelika, AL, Trell Hardnett of Birmingham, AL, Justice Wynn of Tuskegee, AL and MaKenzie Wynn of Opelika, AL; three grandchildren, Ka’Miya Ambus, Raelynn Ellis and Jose Ambus all of Opelika, AL; stepfather, Curtis Vines of Opelika, AL; two sisters, Yolanda Canada and Shakeila Minnifield both of Opelika, AL; one aunt, Ida J. Tools of Camp Hill, AL; three uncles, Eddie B. Meredith of Opelika, AL, Jerry (Virginia) Carr of Salem, AL and Willie Reed of Opelika, AL; one niece, Crystal (Bernard) Sanford of Opelika, AL; three special friends as brothers, Sterling Reese of Opelika, AL, Tyrone Thornton of Atlanta, GA and Derric Baker of Opelika, AL; special mother-in-law, Carol (Joe) Felton on Auburn, AL; mother of his children, Shawounder Samuel of Auburn, AL; special family, The Dunn Family; a special friend, Victoria Willis of Opelika, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
