Funeral service for Michael Holcey, 51, of Tuskegee, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2025, at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 610 Clanton Street, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL 36830, Bishop Kenneth Carter, Sr. will officiate.
Mr. Holcey, who passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at his home in Tuskegee, Alabama, was born September 6, 1973, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Holcey will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Taylor Sippial of Montgomery, AL; six sisters, Debra (Kenneth) Jackson, Connie Holcey both of Opelika, AL, Ophelia Holcey (Harold), Carthelia Holcey Williams, Georgetta Holcey (Darius) and Annie Love of Auburn, AL; four brothers, James (Mae) Singleton, Leon (Christine) Singleton, Jerry Singleton and Ronnie Holcey all of Opelika, AL; six aunts, Reverend Mattie Chatman of Auburn, AL , Thelma Holcey of Opelika, AL, Ruby Carlisle, Ruth Morgan both of Cleveland, OH, Estelle (Charlie) Baker of Miami, FL and Pinkie Mae Stinson of Opelika, AL; one uncle, John (Diane) Stinson of Opelika, AL; five special nephews, Jalen Barton, Tabarus Barton, Tabarus Barton, Jr. all of Tuskegee, AL, LaRon Johnson, Sr. and Terrell Holcey both of Opelika, AL; four special nieces, LaKiva Holcey, Joclegn Patterson both of Opelika, AL, Angie Cannon and Patricia Love both of Auburn, AL; a special friend, Kimberly Mbiya of Tuskegee, AL; three sisters-in-law, Aquatoina (Ricky) Howard of Tuskegee, AL, Carmansitha (Terry) Davenport of Cleveland, OH and Michelle (Wilfred) Holmes of Clearwater, FL; three brothers-in-law, Torrence D.
