Funeral service for Mildred Howard, 79, of Syracuse, NY formerly of Auburn, AL, will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 2255 Wrights Mill Road, Auburn, Alabama, 36830 with interment in the Church Cemetery, Reverend Bernard Anderson, Pastor and Officiating, Presiding Elder James Q. Smith, Eulogist.
Ms. Howard, who passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at Beacon Place at Author Care in Greensboro, North Carolina, was born April 26, 1946, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the church from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Wilfred (Toni) Wagner of Syracuse, NY, Mae Khabir of Greensboro, NC and Jasen (Latasha) Wagner of Syracuse, NY; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; god-daughter, Tammy (Michael) Littleton of Greensboro, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

We are so sorry to hear of beautiful Mildred's passing. She is with our Lord and Savior. Mildred was a prayer warrior and gospel choir singer. I enjoyed our time in Hopps Memorial CME's gospel choir. She was a great friend, sister in Christ. We will miss her. She is singing with the angels now. She lives on. Praying for Jasen, Mae, Will and family.
