Funeral service for Montavian Collier, 37, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Reverend George C. McCulloh will officiate. (Facial covering is required)
Mr. Collier, who passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born December 8, 1984 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, December 9, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Colandra Collier of Opelika, AL; three children, Darrell Sistrunk, Jr., Seaquesh Lynn and Ryheem Sistrunk all of Opelika, AL; mother, Cheryl Jenkins Collier of Opelika, AL; nine grandchildren; a special granddaughter, Taylenn Lynn of Opelika, AL; two brothers, Corderia (Whitney) Collier of Huntsville, AL and Eldrico Avery of Opelika, AL; sister, Crystal Collier of Opelika, AL; step mother, Carolyn Davis of Opelika, AL; five uncles, Michael (Jackie) Jenkins of Memphis, TN, Calvin (Stephanie) Jenkins of Auburn, AL, Patrick (Brenda) Lockhart of Indianapolis, IN, Allen Lockhart, Jr. of Gary, IN and Thaddeus (Linda) Lockhart of Opelika, AL; four aunts, Lorraine Kennedy of Opelika, AL, Shirley Neal, Barbara (Kevin) Howard and Letitia Lockhart all of Indianapolis, IN; one great-uncle, Jimmy Collier of Opelika, AL; mother-in-law, Gaynell Dowdell of Opelika, AL; three sisters-in-law, Tonya (Steve) Elais of Phenix City, AL, Revonia Lynn of Atlanta, GA and Lavonia (Omar) Brooks of Beulah, AL; three special nieces, Carmen Collier, Carolina Collier and Jaylee Collier all of Opelika, AL ; two special nephews, Jaoni McKenzie and Ayden McKenzie both of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
