Funeral service for Oscar Johnson, 65, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mountain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 4789 Lee Road 158, Salem, AL, 36874, Apostle Leeroy Floyd will officiate.

Mr. Johnson, who passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 at his home in Opelika, Alabama, was born August 4, 1960, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted siblings, John Arthur Johnson, Jr., Mary Johnson (Homer) Allen, J.B. Johnson (Debra) all of Opelika, AL, Frances Johnson Freeman (Milton), Christine Johnson Washington both of Phenix City, AL, Lucille Johnson (Lonnie) Torbert of Auburn, AL and Michael (Courtney) Johnson of Midland, GA; two aunts, Maggie (Rudolph) Morris of Valley, AL and Elaine Matti of Atlanta, GA; one uncle, Percy Johnson, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; ex-wife, Sharon Huguley Johnson of Lanett, AL; two stepchildren, Uneeda Huguley (Chris) and Jeremy Huguley both of Lanett, AL; devoted cousin, Eddie Floyd of Lanett, AL; a goddaughter, Nasha Dunn (Tony) Samuel of Valley, AL; eight grandchildren, Izhia Lancaster, Lajadus Huguley, Natoria Huguley, Jermesia Huguley, Jertavious Brooker, Jeremy Huguley, Jr., Jerriah Huguley and Josiah Huguley; a loving and devoted niece, Michelle Johnson of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
