Graveside service for Oscar Watson, 77, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 4881 Highway US Highway 29 South, Auburn, AL 36830, Reverend Amos Harris will officiate.

Mrs. Watson, who passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her home in Auburn, AL, was born January 13, 1946 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, September 15, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Beatrice Watson, Jonathan Watson both of Auburn, AL and Jimmy (Chantelle) Watson, Jr. of Opelika, AL; five grandchildren, Michael (Leangel) Perry of Mobile, AL, Kenyetta Patterson of San Antonio, TX, Jada Nicole Watson, Tori Renee Watson both of Birmingham, AL and Daelon Morgan of Opelika, AL; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alice Preston, Margaret Tatum and Elizabeth Richardson all of Auburn, AL; one brother, John (Connie) Griffin of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
