Funeral service for Rayfield McCray, 75, of Auburn, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 10, 2025, at Deeper Impact Ministry, 114 17th Place, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL, 36830, Dr. Eric Ingram will officiate.

Mr. McCray, who passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at his home in Auburn, Alabama, was born February 18, 1949, in Chatham County, Georgia.

Public viewing will be Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. McCray will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: wife, Sharon Denise Griffin McCray of Auburn, AL; three children, Racheal (Elliot) Williams, Rayfield McCray, Jr. both of Savannah, GA and Rayshawn McCray of Auburn, AL; five stepchildren, Tiffaney (David) Priest, Courtney Griffin both of Auburn, AL, Jamie Armstong, Fredericka Wilson and Felica Shuman all of Savannah, GA; seven grandchildren; one sister, Jeanette Grimes (Henry Green) of Savannah, GA; two devoted nephews, Eric (Sherma) Grimes and Derick Grimes both of Savannah, GA; three devoted nieces, Jacqueline (Derrick) Roberson, Chapelle McCray and Rebecca McCray all of Savannah, GA; three brothers-in-law, Jesse Harris, Venice (Angela) Harris both of Auburn, AL and Eddie (Keyshia) Griffin of Opelika, AL; three sisters-in-law, Vickie (Oscar) Andrews of Auburn, AL, Carla (Jessie) Harper of Valley, AL and Barbara (Randy) Ashford of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
