Funeral service for Frankie Whitlow, 73, of Lafayette, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m. (CST), Saturday, August 10, 2024 at New Mount Sellers Missionary Baptist Church, 660 Avenue A SE, Lafayette, AL, 36862 with interment in St. Luke C.M.E Church Cemetery, 3400 County Road 94, Lafayette, AL, 36862, Reverend Terry L. Magby, Sr., Pastor, Pastor Shandor Calloway, Eulogist.
Mr. Whitlow, who passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born November 2, 1950, in Jefferson County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, August 9, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. β 6:00 p.m.
Reverend Whitlow will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
Survivors loving him and mourning his transition are: his devoted wife, Minnie Whitlow of Lafayette. AL; his daughter, Lekisha Whitlow (Toriano) Madden of Opelika, AL; granddaughter, Nikera Durr of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Twylane Madden of Opelika, AL; four sisters, Juanita James (Thomas) Muhammad of Bessemer, AL, Brenda Cunningham, Linda Whitlow and Vicki Whitlow all of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, Ricky (Johnicia) Whitlow and Milton Whitlow both of Birmingham, AL; special cousins, Annie Ruth Bailey and Ruby Thomas both of Atlanta, GA; two sisters-in-law, Joann Booth of Opelika, AL and Marie (Robert) Askew of Ellenwood, GA; one brother-in-law, Billy (Mary) North of Loachapoka, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family, friends, love ones, church family and an endeared community.

Frankie, my brother in law. I am so emotional right now typing this. We've all had and shared our moment, and there have been moments, LOL.
