Reverend Willie A. Huff, Sr., son of the late Reverend Johnnie Huff, Sr. and Mrs. Vera Huff was born October 29, 1949 in Detroit, MI.
Reverend Huff received Christ at an early age and was raised in the Clinton Street Greater Bethlehem Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith in Detroit, MI, he later attended the Greater Emmanuel Institutional COGIC. He was educated in the Detroit Michigan Public School System, and attended Detroit Business Institute and received an Associate Degree in Business. Later attended Wayne County Community College and received a degree in Liberal Arts.
On November 3, 1968 he married the love of his life Valerie Culver in Detroit, Michigan. He served in the United States Army from November 1, 1966 to September 22, 1972. He served in the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict.
Willie was an Ordained Minister and loved to study and teach the word of God. He worked at Ford and Chrysler in Detroit Michigan. He was a US Postal Worker and worked for the state of New York. Minister Huff was also an entrepreneur and owned cleaning services in New Jersey and Philadelphia. He served as a Free Mason in a New Jersey Chapter.
On Tuesday, May 5, 2020 Minister Huff received the Master’s call at the Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Johnnie Huff, Jr., Robert Huff, Sr. and Raymond Huff, Sr.; four sisters, Veronica Huff, Deborah Huff, Denise Huff and Tina Huff.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife: Valerie Huff; three sons, Willie Huff, Jr., Ranard (Keisha) Huff, Sr. and Vincent Huff, Sr.; two daughters, Tracy (Raymond) Burroughs and Mya (Mark) Dunson; seven brothers, Arthur Huff, Sr., David Huff, Sr., Kenneth Huff, Sr., Howard Huff, Sr., Larry Huff, Sr., Allen Huff and Cordale Huff; five sisters, Betty Jean Huff, Gertrude Huff , Stephanie Huff, Pamela Gatlin and Joyce Huff; thirteen grandchildren, Paris J.(Danielle) Jackson, Caryona Huff, Destiny Hill, Jordan Huff, Kelsey Huff, Bryce Huff, Ke'Airra Huff, Kennedi Huff, Savannah Williams, Karmello Hicks, Tariyah Huff, Thomas Huff and Quentez Knight; one great grandchild, Maisyn Avery Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
