A proud graduate of Loachapoka High School's Class of 1984, Ricky was a man of many talents. He had a natural flair for landscaping, a skill that allowed him to transform ordinary spaces into places of beauty and tranquility. His love for playing pool was well-known among his friends and family, and his expertise in detailing cars was second to none. Ricky's joy for life was also evident in his fondness for riding his bicycle, an activity that he pursued with the same passion and enthusiasm he brought to all his endeavors.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Montez Richardson (Coretta Wright) of Opelika, AL; three grandchildren, Jordan Richardson, Demontez Richardson and Kalaijah Richardson all of Opelika, AL; one sister, Lisa Richardson of Auburn, AL; one brother, Eddie James Richardson, Jr. of Auburn, AL; three aunts, Annie Florence Wilborn of Auburn, AL, Dorothy Louise Wilson of Millbrook, AL and Evelyn Philpot of Auburn, AL; three uncles, Ernest Philpot, Jr., Jewel (Belinda) Philpot and Willie Frank Philpot (Melody Chislom) all of Auburn, AL; three nephews, Corneillus (Chetara) Richardson, Quindravious Richardson (Pamela Harris) both of Opelika, AL and Shamar Richardson of Montgomery, AL; two devoted friends, Maurice Woods and Lonnie Sistrunk; a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
