Robert Warren, 87, of Opelika, AL, son of Mrs. Dora Bell Williams Baker, was born October 13, 1938, in Lee County, Alabama.

At an early age, he confessed Christ and united with St. Ellis Full Gospel Church in Opelika, Alabama.

He took pleasure in catching and cleaning catfish, watching classic Western films, savoring a good pound cake, and cheering on Auburn Tiger football, true passions that brought him joy.

On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, he departed this life at Parkwood Nursing Home in Phenix City, Alabama. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Lelia Mae Warren; son, Robert Warren, Jr.; stepson, Lorenzo Alexander; godson, Antonio Warren; four siblings, Doris Patterson, Willie Baker, Larry Baker and Qullies Baker.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Shelia Warren of Opelika, AL; five step-children, Barbara Jean Alexander, Ora Lee Alexander Boyd, Pastor Clinton Alexander, JC Alexander and Tommy Lee Alexander; eighteen grandchildren, Beverly LaShawn Warren, Keshia Lori Warren, Antonio Warren, Khristian Warren, Diana Mobley, Sandy Renee Mobley, Rosemary Washington, Howard Stevenson Mobley, Shytae Marie Warren, Robert Jones, Stanley Alexander, LaShawn Alexander, Thaddeus Alexander, Tameka Alexander, Felicia Alexander, Tawanda Alexander, Portia Alexander and Reginald Alexander; two sisters, Thelma (David) Smith and Pinkie Stinson both of Opelika, AL; one daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Warren of Opelika, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
