Funeral service for Rochunda Lott, 31, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, 36801, Reverend Clifford E. Jones, Pastor and Officiating, Bishop Jeffery Bolden III, Eulogist.
Ms. Lott, who passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in Auburn, Alabama, was born August 26, 1992, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, July 12, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Lott will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
Her precious memory will forever be cherished by: a son who she loved dearly, SaMauri Jones of Opelika, AL; mother, Barbara (Curtis) Lott of Opelika, AL; father, Jessie (Dorothy) Watts of Opelika, AL; two brothers, Jarvis (Tyeshia) Lott of Smith Station, AL and Travis Henry of Polk County, FL; two aunts, Patricia (Malcom) Cooper of Opelika, AL and Carolyn (James) Young of Mobile County, AL; three uncles, Willie (Marilyn) Lott, Roosevelt (Netterine) Lott, Jr. both of Mobile County, AL and Alphonsa Williams of Frostproof, FL; one great-aunt, Hattie Marie Taylor of Meridian, MS; a special friend, Sam Jones of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
