I am still grieving the lost of my children's father, first husband, and friend. Fortunately, I have wonderful friends and family members who can pray 🙏 for us in our time of grief. Roderick Russell Sr. you were a great friend to many and you loved your family. Please watch over the from Heaven.
I wanted to share a poem that my friend and co-worker created: To: The Russell Family From: Diana Lynn Byrd "YOU'RE NOT ALONE" There comes a time in everyone's life when reality sets in, And the arts of real life and real feelings begin. And to lose a beloved one becomes a surprise, As we are left with tears of sadness in our eyes. We pray someday this will all be explained, Although we know the world will never be the same, Because that special person brought love and joy to your life, Now to keep on going is a true sacrifice. Now spending time alone, thinking of the past, Knowing those special memories will always last, To know you can smile again, remembering the good times, And those special moments together will always be in mind. Those special memories, shared, can never be taken away, They will make you stronger as each day passes away, Just keep your hand in God's hand, and He will see you through, And put your trust in Him and remember He loves you. No one knows what the future holds, but the good Lord up above, And to all His children, He will spread His love, He will watch over our beloved ones, as He calls them home. Because with Him is where they truly belong. Doing His will, because mistakes He makes none, Calling our beloved ones home, one by one, And in the end, we will all in heaven, our new home, But remember, for now, Russell Family You're Not Alone.
