Obituary For Roger "Jim" Winfield
Memorial service for Roger Winfield, 80, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Presiding Elder James Q. Smith will officiate.
Mr. Winfield, who passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 at his home in Opelika, Alabama, was born February 4, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
There will be no public viewing.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Priscilla Winfield of Opelika, AL; two children, Tyrone Winfield and Roslyn Cole Winfield both of New Orleans, LA; two stepchildren, Agulanda (Ronnie Phillips) Smith and Charles Wilson both of New Orleans, LA; six sisters, Earline Winfield, Betty Winfield, Geraldine Winfield, Genevieve Winfield, Claudette Marshall and Dianne Winfield all of New Orleans, AL; one brother, Lawrence (Brenda) Winfield of Oakdale, LA; one aunt, Laine Winfield of New Orleans, LA; one sister-in-law, Donna Blatcher of New Orleans, LA; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
