Obituary For Samuel "June" Pitts, Jr.
Funeral service for Samuel Pitts, 63, of Atlanta, GA formerly of Auburn, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1535 West Farmville Road, Auburn, AL, 36830, Minister Christine Berry will officiate.
Mr. Pitts, who passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at his home in Atlanta, Georgia, was born March 20, 1962, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, May 23, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Fashonda (Jeffery) Frazier of Opelika, AL; two grandchildren, Javian Spinks and Jada Frazier both of Opelika, AL; four siblings, Gwendolyn Pitts, O.D. Pitts both of Bloomington, IN, Willie H. Pitts of Auburn, AL and Cassandra Pitts of Opelika, AL; one aunt, Katie Bass of Loachapoka, AL; one uncle, L.E. Pitts of Birmingham, AL; two special cousins, Ella Pitts and Anteneria Pearson both of Loachapoka, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

To my daughter Fashonda, my son in law, grand and her Pitts family, my heart goes out to you, June loved his family but I will say he adored his daughter and grandchildren, he called his daughter a Queen, in his eyes that's exactly what she was. June would wear his shades and his cross chain, his love was genuine to all he met. RIP SAMUEL L as my other kids and grandkids called him, they loved him unconditionally. You'll truly be missed by us all.. 🕊️🕊️💔💔
