Funeral service for Scottie Moore, 54, of Auburn, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL, 36832, Reverend Chester Levett will officiate.

Mr. Moore, who passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 at his home in Auburn, Alabama, was born March 8, 1972, in Lee County, Alabama.

There will be no public viewing.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Diane Moore of Auburn, AL; three children, Joshua Mitchell Moore, LaPrecious Yancey and Tyquese Yancey all of Auburn, AL; two sisters, Cathy Moore and Jennifer Reese both of Auburn, AL; eight brothers, Christopher (Fannie) Moore, Derrick Yancey both of Opelika, AL, Larry (Barbara) Moore, John Roger (Cleo) Moore, Richard Moore all of Auburn, AL, John Allen (Jennifer) Moore of Montgomery, AL, Robert (Lucille) Yancey of Chesapeake, VA and Bobby (Sandy) Yancey of Charlotte, NC; two uncles, Fred Yancey of Opelika, AL and Johnny (Birdie) Yancey of Syracuse, NY; father-in-law, Jimmy West of Leesburg, GA; mother-in-law, Ethel (Maurice) Jackson of Auburn, AL; one sister-in-law, Shonda Favor of Albany, GA; four brothers-in-law, Jimmy (Earlene) West Leesburg, GA, Michael (Linda) Rivers of Show Low, AZ, Henry (Linda) West and Donta Tinson both of Albany, GA; devoted friends, Jeff Simmons, Bruce Dowdell, Lewis Dowdell, Louis Dowdell, Tyrone Ogletree, Greg Howard, the staff of Auburn City Schools and Cornerstone Church; special pet, Mojo; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
