Funeral services for Sharon Roberts, 49, of Salem, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Zion at the Hill A.M.E. Zion Church, 3845 Lee Road 29, Opelika, AL, 36804 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Thomas Betts, Sr., Pastor and Minister Eric Rowe, Eulogist.

Mrs. Roberts, who passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at her home in Salem, Alabama, was born December 5, 1973, in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, May 12, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required.)

Mrs. Roberts will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: three children, Anthony Norwood, William Roberts and Cameron Norwood all of Opelika, AL; parents, Olin and Mary Norwood of Salem, AL and Auzzie (Carolyn) Love of Opelika, AL; five sisters, Stephanie (Christopher) Holloway of Salem, AL, Tammy Bennett, Yolanda Bennett Johnson, Kalise Love and Kalina Love all of Opelika, AL; three brothers, Olden (Alicia) Norwood of Salem, AL, Cedric Love of Opelika, AL and Eric Burke of Auburn, AL; devoted god-brother, Kentavious Chatmon of Opelika, AL; eight aunts, Annie Ruth Everette of San Antonio, TX, Tracy (James) Warren, Deborah Frazier, Hattie Norwood Morris, Rubie (Reverend Benjamin) Cannon, Alvella Love-Seatts all of Opelika, AL, Rita Thomas and Dale Dubose both of Auburn, AL; two uncles, Gregory (Berneza) Norwood of Columbus, GA and Eugene (Minnie) Love, Sr. of Albany, GA; four nieces, Chantal, Alexis, Alexandria and Carmen; six nephews, Christopher, Xavier, Ayden, Ashton, Gerald and Kameron; two great-nephews, Hayden and Zaiden; five special cousins, Tonya, Magen, Tiffany, Anita and Nicole; devoted caregiver, Marilyn Brown of Auburn, AL; a host of cousins and friends.
