Funeral service for Terrance Bynum, 47, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 610 Clanton Street, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2000 South Uniroyal Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Bishop Kenneth Carter.
Mr. Bynum, who passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at his home in Opelika, Alabama, was born June 12, 1977, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, February 21, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Bynum will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: a devoted wife, Doris Bynum of Opelika, AL; three children, Kareesa (Carnillious) Tables of Loachapoka, AL, Tyesha Hart of Opelika, AL and Adrion J. Lowe of Auburn, AL, father, Melvin (Vicki) Walton of Opelika, AL; five grandchildren, Trevion Tables, Talayah Tables, Kamorah Palm, Ariel Palm and Karson Glaze; four sisters, Brandy (Tony) Milford, Constancia Ingram, Kimyatta (Arthur) Taylor all of Opelika, AL and Vesta Bynum of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Javonn Ingram of Opelika, AL; four aunts, Sherrell (Marshall) Reese, Bernice Blue, Violet Morgan and Anita Harvey all of Opelika, AL; one uncle, Victor Bynum of Opelika, AL; four great-aunts, Fannie Lou Nelms, Minnie Pearl Harris, Doris (Reverend Amos) Bryant and Mary Bynum all of Opelika, AL; three sisters-in-law, Myrtis Simmons, Frederica (Teddy) Gaddis both of Atlanta, GA and Tewonder Hart of Auburn,AL; one brother-in-law, John (Tyannia) Shelton of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
