Mrs. Reeves, who passed away, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her home in Opelika, AL, was born December 25, 1952, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing for Mrs. Reeves, will be Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. โ 6:00 p.m. (face covering required)
She leave to cherish her memory: her loving children, Shasta Reeves, Damarcus (Denisha) Reeves, Arneka Reeves all of Opelika, AL and Johnny (Chiquita) Beasley of Alabaster, AL; fifteen grandchildren, Jada, Kambri, Ajaya, Elijah, C.J., Ethan, Messiah, Mahari, Eden, Emani, Evan, Emoree, Tylana, Kamaury and Jai; two great grandchildren, Brayden and Jeli; three sisters, Elease (William) Reese of Pontiac, MI, Mozell (Bernard) Hurley of Snellville, GA and Dianetta Williams of Madison, AL; four brothers, Leroy (Catherine) Sims, Jr., of Stone Mountain, GA, Curtis Sims of Detroit, MI, Johnny (Loretta) Sims of Opelika, AL and Kelvin Sims of Atlanta, GA; three bonus children, Geneva Newsome, Brian Heard and Katicia Ligon; two special friends, Tracie Davis-Allen and Mary Coleman; a special cousin and caregiver, Minister Loretta Fuller of Salem, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Reminiscing over our "Adopted Big Sis, Thelma", our hearts ache; but, thankful that she was part of our lives, from childhood to adulthood. Her family, our family...Our family, her family..The Sims, The Joneses...The Joneses, The Sims...then, "The Reeves"! Wow...loving memories!!! Prayers Shasta, DC , Neka and our Sims' Siblings!
