Obituary For Timothy Mooney
Funeral service for Timothy Mooney, 81, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Ebenezer C.M.E. Church, 616 Day Lily Street, Loachapoka, AL 36865 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, Reverend Robert Strickland will officiate.
Mr. Mooney, who passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL, was born May 17, 1941 in Montgomery, Alabama. Public viewing will be Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required)
Mr. Mooney will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted companion, Linda Henry; three daughters, Gwendolyn Mooney of Douglasville, GA, Wandisa Mooney of Auburn, AL and Kimberly Mooney of Opelika, AL; one bonus daughter, Sharhonda Henry of McDonough, GA; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence (Margaret Maxine) Former of Prattville, AL and Willie Former of Montgomery, AL; one aunt, Eula (Lane) Coleman of Montgomery, AL; the Canada Family who treated him as their own; best friends, Tommie Graham Jr. and Albert Norris; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
