Funeral service for Tony Dumas, 66, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 2255 Wrights Mill Road, Auburn, AL, Reverend Bernard Anderson will officiate.
Mr. Dumas, who passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at his home in Auburn, AL, was born August 22, 1958, in Gary, IN.
Public viewing will be Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. โ 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Catherine Dumas of Auburn, AL; mother, Virginia Deviose of Auburn, AL; four children, Shineca Dumas (Antonio) Brown of Birmingham, AL, Taccara Dumas of Gary, IN, Sheena Moody of Birmingham, AL and Toni Alexandria Dumas; six grandchildren, Malcom Brown, Mekai Brown, Mason Brown, Alondria Nash, Alonzo Nash and RโMoni Chandler; one brother, Gerard Dumas of New Port, VA; four nieces, Jonnean Chapmon, Dominique Dumas, Dashonda Dumas and Zakira Gay; four nephews, Kameron Sanford, Gerard Dumas, II, Braymon Dumas and Quentin (Ella) Williams; four aunts, Mary Helen (Reverend Leonard) Bryant of Opelika, AL, Betty Heard, Belinda (Lester) Patrick and Debra Clark all of Tuskegee, AL; two uncles, Melvin Clark and Alphonso Clark both of Tuskegee, AL; mother-in-law, Georgia Echols of Auburn, AL; one sister-in-law, Gwen Echols (Larry Bufford) of Auburn, AL; two brothers-in-law, Craig Echols and Steven Echols both of Auburn, AL; godmother, Annie Ruth Epps of Auburn, AL; family friend, Janet Pitts of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
