Funeral service for Walker Carlton, 80, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 1535 West Farmville Road, Auburn, Alabama 36830 with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, Alabama, 36832, Reverend Veryl D. Gilbert, Pastor, Minister James Gibson, Eulogist.

Mr. Carlton, who passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born October 21, 1945, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Carlton will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving and devoted wife of thirty years, Dorothy Louise Carlton; two sons, Marzine (Pamela) Dumas and John (LaKeisha) Menifee; five daughters, Cindy DeVoise, Dutchess (Merrill) Harvey, Katrina (Francis) West, Pamela (James) Oliver and Monesha Owens; bonus son, Tyrone (Beronica) Owens; eleven grandchildren, Katrice Dumas, Latisha Byrd, Kameron Owens, Royal Hunter, Dorothia Hill, Sunshray Khapir, William Harvey, Adrian Jones, Danashia Hill, Drew West and Kendra Brown; twenty great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Alice Jones, Ellen Reeves and Rebecca Dowdell; mother-in-law, Princella Owens; four brothers-in-law, Jesse Wright, David Lewis (Katherine) Owens, Willie (Cynthia) Owens and Anthony (Glenda) Owens; four sisters-in-law, Flora (James) Gibson, Shirley Wilson, Glenda (Tony) Lockhart and Angela (Nathaniel) Caldwell; seven close friends, Tazzar Nelms, Stanley Jackson, Fred Bostick, Frank Cobb, Lou Walter Butler, John Williams and Cecil Griffin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
