Obituary For Willie Lee “Uncle Willie” Dillard
Funeral service for Willie Dillard, 65, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a repast at Ashton Way, 201 Samford Avenue #1400, Opelika, AL 36801.The interment will be Monday, February 3, 2025, at 12:00 noon (EST) in Higgsville Baptist Church Cemetery, 18 Gallimore Mill Road, Jeffersonville, GA, 31044, Pastor Eddie Jackson will officiate.
Mr. Dillard, who passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at his home in Opelika, Alabama, was born December 13, 1959, in Twiggs County, Georgia.
Public viewing will be Friday, January 31, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters, Martha Jackson of Shorter, AL and Mary Myers of Columbus, GA; one aunt, Dorothy (Horace) Rutherford of Culloden, GA; special friend, Valarie Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
