Obituary For Wilson "Tic" Pitts, Jr.
Funeral service for Wilson Pitts, 80, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2022, at True Deliverance Holiness Church, 936 North Donahue Drive, Auburn, AL 36830, Bishop Nolan T. Torbert, Officiating and Elder Rickey Pitts, Eulogist. (Facial covering is required).
Mr. Pitts, who passed away Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born September 15, 1942 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).
Mr. Pitts will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his memory: four children, Rickey (Annette) Pitts of Opelika, AL, Michael Pitts of Little Rock, AR, Matthew Pitts and Norman (Jacqueline) Pitts both of Loachapoka, AL; ten grandchildren, Zacketa (Mark) Clarke, Mia Pitts, Franchez Pitts, Jaquavious Jackson, Normesha Pitts, Andrea McKeithern, Michael Dotson, Bianca Dotson, Khalil Pitts, Michael Pitts Jr.; nine great-grandchildren, Amariya Turner, Mariyah Turner, Mario Turner Jr, Micah Dotson, Jasmine Pitts, Ka’Niyah Pitts, Kimora Pitts, Kentavious Pitts and Jocelyn Pitts; one sister, Bernice Pitts of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, Bobby (Mary E) Pitts of Auburn, AL and Theodis (Willie Mae) Pitts of Opelika, AL; two uncles, Willie L Waldrop of Opelika, AL and Le Pitts of Birmingham, AL; one aunt, Katie Bass of Loachapoka, AL; one brother-in-law, Curtis Parker of Auburn, AL; one sister-in-law, Mattie Pitts of Auburn, AL; a very special cousin, Mary Ann Philpot; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sad to hear this praying for the family I only know one of the children but my heart is touching him and the whole family , I remember listening at One of the young man teaching Sunday during the pandemic I miss that, a very good teacher.
