To the Family and Friends of Gwendolyn McClinton, you have my deepest condolences and prayers.

Mrs. Gwen and I worked at MDOC/CMCF and had fellowship together at Word of Life church. Mrs. Gwen dreamt of having a women's minister where she could help women getting out of prison and setting them on the right path to Jesus. We had a lot of fundraiser events to help this minster. In between she put on food drives for the homeless and the less fortunate. She continues her dream at Flowood Restitution Center for women in prison being the hands and feet for Jesus and always looking for ways to go the extra mile in helping the people she meets. We attended the same church; she served in the children ministry. She never stops doing God's Will which is to Love others as you love yourself. Rest in peace my sister... we will meet again. 💕 To the family, know that you will see her again as well. Stay strong and keep the faith.💖

Gwen, 33 other young ladies, and I pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in Spring 1983 at Alcorn State University. Another link has been broken in our chain. Rest in peace my dear line sister.

My condolences to the family. Gwen as we affectionately called her was a great Big Sister and overseer to the Standard Bears. Words alone can not express how she shaped our lives. She will be missed.

I met Mrs. McClinton formally when she came to enroll her son at Hillcrest. They even participated in our workday during the summer, even though school hadn't started yet. She was such a sweet person and such a loving mother to her son.

Gwen we are going to miss you. You was a precious jewel to our family.
