Obituary For Troy Stewart
Viewing rites for Dr. Troy Stewart will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m at Hazlehurst Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Antioch M.B. Church on Wednesday, June 18 at 10:00 a.m.
Burial services will be held at Pine Leaf Church Cemetery.

Sleep on troy
Troy was an excellent brother in the true spirit of of Alpha Phi Alpha. He mentored me when I became Chapter President and coached in the finer points of of modeling, supporting, and caring for pledgees wishing to become Alphamen! Troy will be missed (Joshua :9)
I loved Dr. Stewart having lunch with us in the Co-Lin cafeteria. He loved Co-Lin and loved our food! He was always so friendly and kind. He will be missed!

Troy and I were roommates at Alcorn State University for 4 years: Freshman to graduation. He and I pledged Alpha Phi Alpha on the same line. We were true brothers through our college days. After graduation I was drafted into the army and we lost contact. During the 90's I ran into Troy at ASU and we kept in contact. Every 3-4 months we would talk. I never got to visit his house that he built himself. Every nail, screw, table, light, etc. He told me he did it all by himself. Perhaps we shall meet again in that great getting up morning.
