Mary Jean Walker-McFolley November 23, 1951 - June 11, 2021
Columbus, Georgia - Mary Jean Walker-McFolley was born November 23, 1951 in Troup County, GA to the union of the late Lev and Carrie Mae Williams Walker. She departed this life Friday, June 11, 2021 at Piedmont North, Columbus, GA. Graveside services will be 11:00AM Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Murphy Cemetery, Hamilton, GA with Rev. Nathan Bridges , officiating according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 1605 3rd Ave, Columbus, 706-327-9293.
Visitation will be today, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 2:00PM-6:00PM at the funeral home. Mary graduated from Carver High School in 1969 and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Hamilton, GA. Mary attended and graduated from Columbus Technical College earning a degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked for St Francis Hospital for 37 years.
Other than her parents , she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Jean Chavers, grandsons, DeMarcus McFolley and Randy Deion Berry. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Angie McFolley(Craig); two sons, Derrick McFolley and Daron McFolley(Andrea; granddaughters, Kim McFolley Na Brianna Hines(Jon), Shamaya Henderson and Raveryia Smith; two great grandsons, Ayden Hnines and Zaeohn Smith; two great granddaughters, Zakhirah Smith and Zamaysha Smith; a host of aunts, cousins, other relatives, associates and friends.

Mary and I went to Carver High School in Columbus Ga, class of 69 and we also work together at St Francis Hospital on 3South. Mary was a warm and very friendly lady that love 💕 the lord and took pride in her duties at work. It was a privilege to know her and work with her.
