My brother from the same mother, that's how close we are. I never thought in a million years you would be snatched away from us so suddenly. life is but a vapor. I will always cherish the time spent with you. It never fails everytime I came over I ended up drinking a beer or eating a good Sunday dinner. I still laugh about them shoes that tickled us both so bad🤣 And when me and Dontae was broke down on 285 South you kept your word and rescued us. I hold you close forever in my heart. I pray your soul is resting with the father. I pray that his will be done. I love you brother never good-bye but later. I'm gonna miss you dearly.😭😘♥️🙏🩸🎉

Our hearts are broken by this loss. Darrell was family to us—always watching over us, always saying yes when we needed help, and always leading with kindness. His love, generosity, and gentle spirit touched three generations of our family. We will forever be grateful for the way he cared for us and loved us so well. He will be deeply missed and always remembered with love.

I already miss you so much. Being able to pick up the phone and call you was such a blessing. I'm going to miss your laughter and the ways you showed up for me when I needed it most. I will always remember the CD players you'd get me & Jeremie every year for Christmas as kids and the millions of times I had questions about my car when it started making funny noises and how patient you were with me every time.
