My prayers and comfort of the HolySpirit to the Family of " Mrs. Elsie Benton Alexander" from years back she has been a servant for the Kingdom of God, especially whenever we had the boys prayer lockin, over nighter event at Fairfield Baptist Church she would always show up at 5am with breakfast before the boys would leave out, she would bring food for an army, I would always say Mrs.Elsie we got enough breakfast to feed the county. At other times my Mom the late Ms.Nancy Ferry would support Mrs.Elsie at some of her catering events, now they both continue their service into the Heavenly Father House, they meet up again with those big smiles and life time laughter, for we know the believers im Jesus Christ has everlasting life for eternity in Jesus Christ, on behalf of Rev,Pastor Jimmie A.Halland the Ferry Family we Love you all and will continue to pray
God has given to each of us a gift. He Blessed Elsie and placed her in His heavenly kitchen. It has been said that the way to man's heart is with good food. Elsie has touched many hearts with her gift. We love you Elsie and will truly miss you. (Doctors Paul and Willa Lewis)
Ms. Elsie was one of a kind who shared her gift freely. Always loving and supportive in whatever way she could especially filling those who were blessed with her acquaintance, with soul food. She put the "soul" in soul food because she cooked for people with such love and joy! Heaven now has one of the greatest cooks ever known to man! May her loving soul rest in peace. May the peace of God sustain and surround the Benton family.

I will always remember Ms. Elsie fondly. I remember her always being by First Lady Yvonne's side(her sis-n-luv), while helping with the kids in church, while Pastor Benton led Fairfield Baptist Church. She was truly a good sister, friend, and caregiver to them. And what a Cook! I asked Oya (her niece & my niece by marriage) to ask Ms. Elsie to make a banana pudding for me for a repast. And I think it was the best desert I've ever had. I didn't get to speak to Ms. Elsie often. But I can certainly tell you that Ms. Elsie's good deeds will be her lasting legacy. The family of Freddie Mae Guthrie & Clifford Browning extends our condolences. Keeping you all in love & prayer, Selene Guthrie Peeples 🙏🏽
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
