Gene Ferguson was a tireless fighter for the people. Gene chose to stand up against injustice. He understood the power of grassroots organizing. I loved his resolute spirit and his caring heart. His servant leader life inspires us to keep the faith and continue the struggle. Rest in power, dear Gene.

Those bus rides as a kid with you were amazing! I will always have that childhood memory! Thanks for always getting us back and forth to Camp Michael safely! May God comfort your family and rest your soul in Jesus name!
