To the family of Mrs. Jo-Etta Armstrong. I was so saddened to learn of the transitioning of this absolutely beautiful woman of God. A bright light she was to those she came into contact with. I was given the gift of working with the DCBOH when we met. Always a smile, warm, loving greeting & hug. I will hold the many conversations, words of encouragent, times of laughter, tears & prayers. It is my prayer that the beautiful memories you shared with this beautiful spirit & the peace of Christ be a comfort to you now and forever. Sincerely, Glynetta Anderson
Take your rest now Auntie. No more sickness and suffering. You are now healed. You have your mansion and are walking the streets of gold. Well done my good and faithful servant God is proud to say. One of life's precious gifts is to have the opportunity to be surrounded with such love. You were such a beautiful soul. You had such a zest for life. A love like no other for your husband, children, grands, siblings and extended family; including my own. You were the glue that kept everyone together and I pray the torch has been passed on. I'm thankful my mom married into this family if nothing more than to see what love of family looks like. You were an inspiration to us all. You were my momma's friend and for that I am most thankful. She talked to you about so many things without judgment. She loved you greatly and y'all grew closer in her later years. I've watched you make ways out of no way for your family by the grace of God. You were so proud of your girls and grandbabies. You were boisterous, kind, loving, courageous, fighting up to the end for the love of family. You will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. But if we live our lives righteously, repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we will meet again in Glory! Love Always Your Niece Peggy

Working with Jo-Etta in Adult Health at TO Vinson was the highlight of the day. She would call me "Eddie's Wife." She did not like working in adult health but we loved having her. We shared many conversations about our children, marriage and life in general. It was a pleasure getting to know you and working with you. My condolences to the family. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

She was so loving and beautiful. I wish I would have cherished and appreciated our time together more. I really loved her and I'm so sorry I didn't express that more. I hope I will see you again, but until then... thank you, I will always love you Mama Jo <3
Jo-Etta was a loving caring person, whom had a heart of gold. She always tell me don't give on your dream just trust in God. Mrs. Jo-Etta was truly a woman of God and God said to her your work here on earth is done and it time you to take your rest. She will always be in my thoughts gone but never forgotten. Ask God to wrap his loving arms around the family to comfort and guide them through.

So much I could say about Mrs. Jo-Etta, I don't think I have enough room to type. Mrs. Jo-Etta was like a mom to many, but she was more of an Angel to my mom and I. Mrs. Jo-Etta will always be one of my favorite people, because of her love for her children, grandchildren and her husband there could only be one. We have had many talks and she would always tell me that she was prepared for that day, and she only wanted to make sure her husband (Randy) and her girls would be ok, that she would talk to them to try and prepare them for that day. She has gained her wings and GOD has a true Angel. I love and will miss you dearly

My heart is heavy to learn of the passing of Mrs. Jo-Etta Armstrong. We shared many laughs while working at DCBH together. She was a beautiful woman. "The strong arm", is what I used to call her. GOD has picked another wonderful angel to be by HIS side.

Jo-Etta was a loving and giving person that would give you the shirt off of her back if it would help you. She was a very strong person with such strong faith. Her saying were if I can help someone alone the way, my living wouldn't be in vine and she lived by that. I am going to miss my friend Joetta, the laughter and the conversation during our lunch break that we use to have. She loved her family and often spoke of them. I pray for strength and healing for her family and friends and she will forever be in our heart. You will truly be missed, so sleep on Angel and I pray one day we will meet again. Cynthia Baker
Ms. JoEtta had a big personality and a giving spirit. I will miss her coming to my office and us laughing uncontrollably. The laughter we shared will be forever etched in my memory.
