He was always there with a helping hand, a kind word, and such a wonderful spirit. I will never forget him, and he will be tremendously missed. Ms. Gloria, Allan and Ms. Joyce, words cannot fully express the loss I have for your family. I send sincere prayers and condolences to all of you. Mr Phil was an extraordinary man with such compassion and kindness. We lived next door to him for over 10 years and he was the best neighbor in the entire neighborhood. He often assisted my son, nephew and my late husband in helping with things at our home (including cutting grass). Also, he looked out for our home whenever ministry called for us to travel out of town. He kept us up-to-date while we were away. Then he was a huge help to my Mom who lived across the street. (From putting up a fence to other small needs in her home). Then when my husband passed, the kindness and support was truly appreciated. Unfortunately it's difficult to find such genuine care and love for thy neighbor during these days. May you all find peace and comfort knowing that he was a rare find who left an indelible mark and will be truly missed. Sending love, hugs and prayers your way.

To Gloria, Allan,and Joyce my Sincerest and Deepest Condolences. I Love You all. Phil was more like an Uncle or Grandfather to me than a Cousin. I'll miss the fun conversations we had. The admiration of the man Phil was I can't adequately convey or articulate I will miss him immensely visiting him from NC over the last 24 years were some of the best times of my life. My condolences to the family. He was my oldest living friend, we met at about 6 years old and was still in contact.

Our deepest condolences to the entire Evan's Family 💔 My grandmother Louise Ellis is a very good friend to Mr. Phil and that's how l met him at the ripe old age of 19 years old. I'm now 54 and We have a ton of beautiful memories about Mr.Phil... He made such an impeccable mark in our lives as a great family friend and we're saddened to see him go. Miss Gloria Alan, I am so sorry. Thank you for sharing Mr. Philip.with me and my family. He was like the second dad to me when my dad was not there. I depend on him so much and love him so much so thank you for letting him be part of our life too.
