To the Hall Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Dr. Hall. I was blessed to be part of the very first eighth-grade class at L.J. Price when it transitioned from a high school to a middle school. After leaving my elementary school, we entered unfamiliar territory together, and Dr. Hall was the steady leader who made that transition one of the most memorable experiences of my childhood.
Dr. Hall was stern but fair, firm yet compassionate. He held us to high standards because he believed we were capable of meeting them. He gave us the structure we needed, while also creating a safe environment where we could mature, discover who we were, and prepare for high school with confidence. He encouraged us to think bigger, do better, and represent ourselves with pride.
One of my favorite memories was our class trip to New York City with Dr. Jones and several other teachers. For many of us, it was the first—and perhaps the only—out-of-state school trip we had ever experienced. Looking back, I realize what a tremendous act of trust and vision that was. Dr. Hall believed in his teachers enough to entrust them with such an incredible opportunity, and he believed in us—a bunch of kids from Carver Homes and the surrounding communities—enough to let us experience a world beyond what many of us had ever known. That trip expanded our horizons in ways we didn't fully appreciate at the time.
As a child, I simply knew Dr. Hall as a principal who cared about us. As an adult, I recognize that he was building more than a school—he was building character, confidence, and community. He helped lay the foundation for a brand-new middle school, and in doing so, he helped shape the lives of countless students.
Dr. Hall will always hold a special place in my heart as the first of my two favorite principals. I will forever be grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the example he set. Thank you for sharing him with all of us. His legacy lives on in every student whose life he touched.
With heartfelt sympathy,

It was a joy working with Robert for many years under the leadership of Dr. Alvin Dawson and later, serving as principal for two of his grandchildren. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He will be greatly missed. May the Savior receive him in his Heavenly home.

Robert was my first principal when I was employed with the Atlanta Public Schools as a School Secretary. Some people enter your life and quietly shape the course of it for the better. Robert was one of those rare souls. He was a trusted advisor, a lifelobg friend and a loving godfather who treated my family as his own. His memory will remain a cornerstone in our hearts.
Condolences to the family of Mr Robert Hall. Saddened about my high school coach passing. My God continue to bless the Hall family.
