Donnie Gill was a true blessing to know. He was a member of my Spiritually Guided Dance Ministry at Plaza United Methodist Church He was always a joy to be in the presence of. I had the blessing of working with DG many years at ESPN in Charlotte. I've read many true and accurate statements made about his kindness, joy, encouragement, love, and friendship that he shared with everyone around him. In other words: Fruits of the Spirit. He lived out his faith in his savior, the Lord Jesus. What a great inspiration he was to me, and I look forward to seeing him in heaven and hearing that infectious laugh of his many, many more times.

I met Donnie while working at Chad's when I was 15. He was one of the first to welcome me to the restaurant. He will always be remembered as being kindhearted and sweet, with a crazy sense of humor. RIParadise my friend.

Donnie was like a first cousin. We were raised together when we were kids. His grandma Koot and my mama Rosie Lee are good friends. He always was a nice person with a great smile. He will be missed!🕊️❤️
