My deepest condolences to the Newman, we'reGunter family in the loss of our beloved Dot. Our family history is older than I am. Her father,officer Frazier Newman and my father,Big John were best friends. They help build the African-American community of Haines City Florida. When Dot and Jerry got married they move next door to my family and I on avenue J. The first born Pookie was my baby and everybody knew. I got so upset when I went to college and had to leave my baby. When De was born he was that male child we had been waiting for. Dot and Jerry were there for me and my family every since I can remember. When I left the South and moved to Buffalo,it was Dot and Jerry who stepped in my shoes and took very good care of my mother and my child. I thank God for you both everyday. To my sister. I didn't have the honor of knowing Mrs. Dorothy but I know how deeply she was loved by those around her. My heartfelt condolences go out to your entire family during this time of loss. Sending comfort, prayers, and love—especially to Faron & Courtnie who always spoke of her with such warmth.
