Luisa Rivera, affectionately known as “Mama,” passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on August 25, 1949, and from the very beginning filled the world with love, warmth, and kindness.

On September 9, 1967, Luisa married the love of her life, Isachal (“Sachy”), and together they built a beautiful family grounded in love, faith, and devotion. Luisa is survived by her husband of 58 years, their two children, Isachal (Junior) and Maria (Marylu) and the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.

She was a proud grandmother to Cita, Elliot, Jay, Gabriel, Michael, Nicholas, Bianca, and Madison, and a cherished great-grandmother to Michael, Joseph, Brook Lynn, Robert, Emma, Jacob, Sammy, Rilee, and Savannah. Nothing gave her more happiness than raising and nurturing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who knew her simply as “Mama.”

Luisa is also survived by her beloved sisters, Rosa and Sarah, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts. Known for her warmth, generosity, and incredible cooking, Mama’s home was always filled with delicious meals and unconditional love she shared so freely. Mama also had a special love for flowers and took great joy in planting and tending to her garden, which bloomed as beautifully as the love she gave to her family.

Her legacy lives on in the traditions she passed down, the family she adored, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but remembered always with love and gratitude.

Nada le dio más felicidad que criar y cuidar a sus nietos y bisnietos, quienes la conocían simplemente como “Mama.”
