Thanks so much for the love and kind words about my dad! Keep us in your prayers as we navigate through life without his presence. But grateful he will remain in our hearts and also grateful for the many memories we will cherish forever. Much love! -Remell Bowens, Jr. (Baby Boy)
Remell is sitting out back under the tree with my Bruce just shooting the breeze. They are both just smiling and laughing, sitting up a little straighter cuz it doesn't hurt so bad anymore. Remell and Bruce became fast friends over 25 years ago. They would just talk & talk, laugh, just the 2 of them or with family and friends-whoever just showed up. Sometimes they played pool, or threw darts. Remell always made a point of coming to dinner one night during my parents yearly winter visit. We had a great dinner, then just sat and talked about everything. Remell would finally say 'I got to go and get a couple hours sleep', another 30 minutes later and he might finally be out the door. When my sister passed in 2001 he sent my parents a dish garden. My Dad kept it flourishing until his passing in 2016. In the last few years Remell and Bruce tried to check in on each other weekly. Sometimes it took an extra 2 or 3 days and that conversation started with 'guess where I am' meaning one of them had a hospital visit. Despite their ailments they both tried to talk about anything but those, usually catching up on stories of kids and grandkids. Gone to early, but not forgotten, and not in pain any more, just sitting and talking about everything. Rest in peace. Miss you both.
You're definitely going to be missed. Rest in peace Remell.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends. Remell was a good friend, we talked about everything. We laugh, prayed and encouraged each other. Remell have said on numerous times that it's now in God's hands. Now I will say Remell, you are now in God's hands. I'm really going to miss hearing your voice. It never failed, whenever I call or you call me, your greetings would always be " Hi pretty girl" lol, make me wondered if you forgot my birth name lol! Thanks for being apart of my life, and leaving so many joyful memories. Love you my dear friend, have a good night. I will see you in the morning ๐.
The Loss Of A Sibling..
Losing a loved one can be a heartbreaking experience, and the loss of a sibling is particularly painful.
As kids, we often spend a lot of time with our brothers and sisters, creating memories, and bonds that last a lifetime.
Even as adults, our siblings often remain an integral part of our lives.
The loss of a sibling can leave us feeling empty, and alone, as though a piece of ourselves is missing.
It can also bring up feelings of guilt or regret, as we think back on arguments or missed opportunities to connect with one another..
Remell, I know your beautiful memories will help us, through this difficult time.
Family, Grieving is a process that takes time, but eventually, the pain will lessen.
May these words bring comfort to anyone else who has lost a family member.
Please let us keep, Remell's, memory alive, and cherish the time we had with him. He will always be with us in spirit. We love and will miss you, dearly my brother.
Yes, Until we meet again!
Love always, your loving sister and family.
Asking for continued prayers of comfort and peace over my family..
Love & Blessings ๐ Vernon, Cherry ,Tyrence, Wesley, Arica, Avin, Adrian, Arion & Elenoa
