Today, with a heavy heart yet with unwavering faith in God's promises, we honor the life of my beloved nephew, Trent Nixson. On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the Lord called him home. Trent's smile, his gentle spirit, and his love touched everyone blessed to know him. His time here, though far too short for our hearts, was filled with laughter, kindness, and a heart that reflected the pure light of Christ. We are comforted by the Word that says, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8). Though the weight of grief is heavy today, I am choosing to trust in God's perfect will, knowing Trent is resting safely in His arms. We will forever cherish the memories, the love, and the joy that Trent brought into our lives. His life reminds us to love deeply, forgive quickly, and live each day with purpose and gratitude. Until we meet again in glory, we love you, Trent.
