Sending prayers to the Howie family. Aretha and I worked together for years at Abbott Laboratories. Aretha was a very kind and loving friend and I loved talking to her...she was a very wise woman and had an amazing sense of humor. Thank you Aletha...I will never forget you.

Miss Howie I'm gonna miss coming to visit you and bringing you goodies. I'm already missing you not working in your yard with your flowers. You did it as long as you were able and even when you weren't. You were a beautiful person and an icon in our community. Our last good time together was at your surprise birthday party last month when you turned 90. To the family you have our deepest condolences and prayers. Love you Miss Howieβ€οΈ
Deepest sympathy to family
My sincere condolences to the Howie family. Aletha was a very nice lady who made the "best" pineapple-coconut cakes back in the day at Abbott Laboratory. It was a joy to visit her a couple of times this year. We both love nature & the beauty of flowers. πβοΈππ«
