Alvernon N. Deans, Jr. 72, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Funeral service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, April 4, 2026 at United House of Prayer For All People, 1330 East Raleigh Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC. 27801 with Elder Spencer Richardson, officiating. Burial will follow at Bishop S.E. Madison Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 4:00pm ~ 6:00pm Friday, April 3, 2026 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC. 27801.
